KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI — Those worried about the likelihood of Kalamazoo turning into an ice desert in the next couple years can breathe a collective sigh of relief. Two major announcements took place Tuesday, Oct. 7. The first is that an affiliate of Black Bear Sports Group has taken over the recently-closed Wings West and will reopen the Texas Township facility in time for the 2026-27 season.
